FOR OUR FUTURE !

Sustainability is at the core of our design process. We believe that furniture should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also responsibly produced. Our approach includes using high-quality, sustainable materials and artisanal techniques that extend the lifespan of each piece. We collaborate with local suppliers to minimize our ecological footprint. Through our commitment to sustainability, we aim to create beautiful furniture while contributing to a greener future for generations to come.

About Us

Manufacturing

Every Armand&Francine piece is completely unique. Each item is crafted in our own studio and finished with a decorative technique based on lime, acrylic, and pigment. This technique is applied by hand, giving an imperfectly perfect result that gives each table a unique look with color nuances and small irregularities. The Material is wear-resistant and impermeable to moisture throughout, yet must be protected against stains, much like natural stone. All of our indoor furniture is treated in the final stage with three layers of PU varnish, to ensure good protection.

The Founders

Armand & Francine is a Belgian furniture brand founded by Gert Hellebaut and Cathy Poppe from Ghent. As a tribute to their late parents, Armand & Francine, they started their own line of handmade furniture, combining their passion for design with craftsmanship. Their personal history and love for design are at the heart of every piece they create. Innovation is central to Armand & Francine, and they continue to distinguish themselves by constantly seeking new challenges and techniques. An example of this is the Pica technique, used in the Pigalle collection, which symbolizes their creative approach. This technique, which combines a rough texture with a refined design, perfectly represents their pursuit of originality and quality. The finishing and the perfect imperfection in the texture make that the furniture can be considered as art.

Maintenance Tips

Good design

should be treated with love.

The micro cement material contains lime, so avoid using harsh cleaning products such as Cilit Bang, Antikal, vinegar, and/or bleach. Do not use cleaning agents with acids or lemon. A daily cleaning with a cloth or sponge and mild detergent is sufficient. The material is easy to maintain, and thanks to the protective layers, most dirt is repelled. However, stains from daily use, such as coffee, wine, fruit juices, spices, lemon juice, oils, etc., should not be left on the surface for a long period.
